Who We Are
We are one of the largest sustainable and socially responsible manufacturing companies in Colombia. Our monthly production capacity is 500,000 garments manufactured in a built area of 35,000 m2 between production plants, raw material storage, storage of finished products, administrative offices, and our industrial wastewater treatment plant, PTARI.
We manufacture and market garments with high-quality standards in the Male, Female, and Kids segments in the categories Formal, Casual, Jeanswear, Sports, Underwear, and Institutional.
Our commercial life began in 1980, when our founder, Diego Pineda Jiménez, started a garment workshop in the city of Pereira. Since then we have evolved in an admirable and sustainable way in everything we do. The only thing that has not changed in the course of all these years is our philosophy “When people are first, the results are extraordinary".
Timely production and quality have been the central axis in everything we do. The garments made in CO&TEX stand out for their superior attributes, to the point of being chosen to dress the President of the Republic of Colombia.
At CO&TEX sustainability is also paramount in our activity. That is why we are aware of the great responsibility we have before the society and the environment. We act with a committed and proactive management aimed at preserving natural resources, minimizing the environmental impact and positively influencing the lives of our employees, their families and the community in which we live.
